Kubecon NA 2023 is next week, are you excited?
KubeCon is coming up, it is a flagship cloud native conference that gathers 1000’s of people from around the globe under a single roof to discuss cloud native.
KubeCon Na 2023 is happening in Chicago and I will be there in person, presenting a talk on Chaos Mesh. Do attend my talk if you are attending in person.
Besides Kubecon there are a lot of things that happens before the actual event.
Cloud native Rejekts - This is a small conference but again very focussed with great talks and experience, I know as I have seen the talks but this time Kubesimplify is a community sponsor and I will be there in person. Do say hi, I will be sitting with a table+chair in the conference and open to talk about cloud native, Kubernetes and WebAssembly.
Cloud Native WASM day - There are many co-located events that happens with KubeCon. These target different target areas and this year I will be attending cloud native WASM day due to my deep interest in this technology.
Kubernetes contributor Summit - This happens at every KubeCon, this is aprroval based only where Kubernetes contributors come in and discuss the project scope, steering committee gives their opinions and features some talks.
Although KubeCon is exiting, it can be overwhelming at the same time with many talks, sponsors, people and technology to digest. There are various ways to make the best out of the conference as a beginner, experience, independent consultant and CEO’s. I have discussed from my experiences everything in this video.
Apart form this, I am already booked for my Kubeday travel and Civo Navigate next year in Austin. Plus I am working on a course which will be published on Kubesimplify before 2023 ends and I am very excited about this. More than 60% of the course is already compelted, the editing and remaining portions are in progress. Hope you all will like it.

WebAssembly is mainly used for web apps, but serverless and plugin use is rising, and there’s a growing interest in threads, garbage collection, and the new component model, though there's some impatience around the slow evolution of the WebAssembly System Interface (WASI) preview 2 and component model.
